The Courtyard is Spielfeld’s versatile 100 m² outdoor venue on the ground floor of our Berlin location. Directly attached to the Bistro and the Hall of Fame, it serves as the perfect setting in good weather for networking receptions, product showcases, outdoor catering, summer BBQs, and relaxed after work drinks or dinners under the open sky.
The Courtyard features stylish garden furniture, high top tables, sun protection, and ambient lighting for the evening hours. Thanks to a dedicated loading ramp for deliveries, the space can easily be customized upon request with catering stations, live grilling, food trucks, market stalls, custom decor concepts, or a campfire.
How large is the Courtyard?
About 100 m² of open-air space in the inner courtyard, on the ground floor of the building.
How many guests fit in the Courtyard?
Up to 100 for a standing reception, a summer BBQ or a networking evening. The exact number depends on the setup, since high tables, lounge seating and market stalls each take up space differently.
What kind of events work well in the Courtyard?
Networking receptions, product showcases, summer BBQs, outdoor catering, and after-work drinks or dinners in the open air.
What is included?
Garden furniture, high tables, sun protection, lighting for the evening, and a loading ramp so suppliers can deliver straight into the courtyard.
What else can we add?
On request we can arrange catering stations, live grilling, food trucks, market stalls, decor concepts or a campfire. Tell us what you have in mind early enough and we will organise it.
Can we combine the Courtyard with the indoor spaces?
Yes. The Courtyard sits directly next to the Bistro and the Hall of Fame, so it works well as the catering, reception or break area for something happening inside.
Are there quiet hours?
Yes. Berlin regulations mean outdoor quiet hours start at 10:00 PM, so music and louder programme points outside end then. From that point the evening moves indoors into the Bistro next door.
Is the Courtyard wheelchair accessible?
Yes. It is on the ground floor with step-free access, and the accessible facilities are indoors on the same level.
Can you handle catering and service for an outdoor event?
Yes. Outdoor catering, drinks packages, technical support, photo and video and full event management can all be booked through us.
Where is the Courtyard and how do we get there?
It is part of Spielfeld Digital Hub on Skalitzer Strasse in Berlin-Kreuzberg, inside the old red-brick complex. Public transport gets you close, and you reach the courtyard through the ground floor.
